Co-founders of Conway Stewart: Mr. Frank Jarvis and Mr. Tommy Garner

"A special Christmas Edition from Conway Stewart"

The golden Edwardian era was indeed the perfect time in Great Britain for two industrious and ambitious young men to set up their own fountain pen business.

With a joint capital of £50, Frank Jarvis and Tommy Garner established themselves in a small room at Paternoster Row, in the heart of the city of London.

Inventive and innovative, the firm's founders set about giving Conway Stewart the unique character, which set it apart from all other pen makers.

In celebration of our 100th year, we are proud to present two new limited edition pens, in honor of our founders, Mr. Frank Jarvis and Mr. Tommy Garner.

The Jarvis Churchill

The stately form of our Churchill model has been brought forward to the twenty-first century with the addition of striking new colors in an edition celebrating one of the original founders of Conway Stewart, Mr. Frank Jarvis.

The Jarvis is available in five versions:
Three vertically striped in Silver Streak, a deep shimmering blue with lighter streaks running the full length of the barrel; Oxford Blue, a more somber blue striped with light green; Amethyst Stripe, a light purple shade with darker accents glowing along the length of the material.

Two contemporary colors in Pepper White color, brilliant shimmering white with deep black flecks; Storm, a more subdued and stately light cream color with larger portions of black marbling throughout.

The Jarvis collection sport complimentary caps and barrel ends in our traditional stately jet-black. The trim includes solid 18K gold cap band and a gold plated clip. Reliable cartridge converter filling mechanism ensures trouble free operation, while the 18K gold nib (available in eight nib widths from Extra Fine through to Broad Italic) delivers ink to the paper in an effortless flow.

The Jarvis Churchill offers a matchless example of classic, elegant design and bright colorful contemporary materials to provide the best in fine writing.

The Garner 100

The Garner is based on the popular 100 model, a mid-sized pen with a gentle taper that feels good in any hand. Sleek and subtlety curvaceous, this pen fondly returns to the Art Deco movement that captured the imagination of designers a century ago.

The Garner is available in three versions:
The subtle Sandstone, a mix of medium gray with light and dark browns running the length of the barrel; Patriot Stripe, a stunning striped mixture of red, white, and blue; finally, the new Black Whirl, a glowing background of vivid red-orange set off by deep black veins swirling across the surface.

The cap and barrel ends of the Garner are finished in jet-black to set off with glowing 18K solid gold trim rings and a gold plated clip. As with the Jarvis, the 18K gold nib is available in eight nib widths, (Extra Fine through to Broad Italic), and filling is via cartridge converter.
