The designers and metal masters at Conway Stewart and MetalWrite are proud to announce a new limited edition series honouring MetalWrite's favourite British computer scientists and mathematicians. The first two editions are dedicated to Alan Turing and Dilly Knox who helped break both the German Enigma and Lorenz ciphers during the second world war as part of the British code breakers at Bletchley Park.

MetalWrite's tribute continues the sterling silver tradition of their limited edition collections and is designed to their customers needs for a sterling pen just a little smaller and lighter than RR1 and RR2.  

The Alan Turing and Dilly Knox editions were created as everyday writing instruments crafted from sterling silver, weighing 60 gms and measuring 166 mm long when the cap is posted on the barrel.

The clip and nib are oversized for this model, creating a classic statement of fountain pen elegance. As with all previous MetalWrite collections, the Alan Turing and Dilly Knox editions are packaged with both fountain pen and roller ball writing units. Limited to only 20 numbered pieces of each design, we are sure this edition will sell out quickly!
